As the days go by,
I remember
The good times
And the bad.
Scrabble in the morning,
Morons in the afternoon,
Communications
And reporting,
Art, movies,
Lecturing,
I'll miss it all.
Otaku Tuesdays,
Geeky Fridays,
Administrative Wednesdays,
Combative Sundays,
Being myself the rest,
Those days won't be forgot.
From best friends,
To idiots,
Mundanes
And then,
I will never forget.
Designing,
Writing,
Deadlines meeting,
Potlucking,
Scrabulating too,
Those days can't be lost,
For the memories made
Are among my most precious.
As my old alma mater
Gives way to a new one,
I will never look back,
But I will always
Remember,
Feel grateful
To the ol' white and blue
For shaping me
Into my person today.
For without it,
Who would I be?
Normal?
God forbid.
I know who I am,
A nerdy,
Borderline insane
Perfectionist
Who will remain loyal,
Who cares about
Her comrades
And always will.
It is with that,
I say goodbye,
And pass on a message:

Memories and friends,
